 Pastor                 Philip Vestal

Rev. Philip Vestal was born in Ft. Worth, TX and in 1986 was called to full-time ministry.  In 1992, after being ordained for vocational Christian ministry and graduating from Baylor University with a B.A. in Religion, Philip became the founder and president of Philip Vestal Ministries, Inc. – a national youth outreach ministry.  After five years of itinerate ministry, Philip moved to Charlotte, NC where he served as a two-year missionary for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, coordinating the Adopt-A-People initiative.  During that time, Philip helped network churches with unreached people groups around the world.  On August 1, 1999 Philip answered God’s clear call to become the pastor of Harlem Baptist Church.  Philip and his wife, Melissa, have three children – Brice, Hallie and Paul.
